The Peterborough International Affairs Forum will focus on the future of U.S. foreign aid at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Mariposa Museum, 26 Main St. in Peterborough.
Moderated by steering committee chair Bob Beck, the program features three Monadnock region residents with extensive international development experience who will share perspectives and career examples where aid proved most effective.

Panelists include Carl Mabbs-Zeno of Peterborough, a former head of planning and budgeting for global health at USAID and senior advisor on foreign assistance at the State Department; Ned Olney, president and CEO of Crotched Mountain Foundation, who previously spent more than three decades leading humanitarian response and overseas development for Save the Children; and Bob Winterbottom of Stoddard, who managed forestry and environmental programs across Africa for USAID and the World Resources Institute.
Audience members will have an opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session following the presentation. The forum meets on the first Thursday of the month, with the next meeting scheduled for Dec. 3.
