Bev Cotton for County Treasurer
Unfortunately, county executive positions don’t always get the attention they deserve during elections. The county treasurer manages, safeguards, and disburses part of our property taxes. This race deserves our close attention. We have the opportunity to vote for an exceptionally qualified candidate in Bev Cotton. Ms. Cotton holds a dual degree in finance/accounting, an MBA, and has advanced education in forensic accounting and fraud. Her work experience includes several decades working as an accounting supervisor and manager and serving as the associate vice president of a university’s student finance office. Bev Cotton is from Weare and serves as an elected trustee of the trust funds in that town. She has served in many other volunteer capacities, demonstrating her commitment to New Hampshire communities.
County Treasurer should be a non-partisan position. I trust Bev to carry out her fiscal responsibilities with her allegiance to the welfare of the taxpayers of Hillsborough County. Please join me in voting for this very exemplary candidate.
