The Monadnock Conservancy has accepted the donation of a conservation easement covering nearly 41 acres on the north side of Cutter Road in Temple.

Landowners Julie McAdoo and Tim Winship, who operated a CSA vegetable and berry farm on the site until retiring in 2018, donated the voluntary legal agreement to permanently limit future development and protect the property’s natural resources.

The land features roughly 12 acres of prime agricultural soils and serves as wildlife habitat for species including bobcats, moose, bears, and deer. The property is located near other conserved lands, including Seven Maples Farm and Temple Mountain, and lies within a mile of the Greenville Reservoir watershed.
