The Peterborough Kiwanis Club recently donated $1,000 to the Southwest Chapter of Project Linus.
Kiwanis Secretary Melinda Adams said the club chose to support the cause after Robyn Manley of Bennington presented at a recent meeting and shared details about the organization’s mission and ongoing efforts.
Project Linus is a national nonprofit organization that distributes handmade blankets and afghans to children who are critically ill, traumatized, or in need. For more information, visit projectlinus.org/about.php.
