The state’s seven-day fall turkey shotgun season opens Oct. 12 and runs through Oct. 18. Eight Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) are open to fall shotgun hunting this year: D2, H1, H2, I1, J2, K, L, and M.

The statewide fall archery season for wild turkey runs through Dec. 15 in WMUs B through M, and through Dec. 8 in WMU A.

Hunters are limited to one turkey of either sex during the fall season. Those who harvested two turkeys during the spring season are ineligible to participate. Shooting hours begin one-half hour before sunrise and end one-half hour after sunset.

Harvested turkeys must be registered within 24 hours either online or in person at a designated check station.

More information and online registration are available at wildlife.nh.gov/hunting-nh/turkey-hunting-new-hampshire.
