Savings Bank of Walpole has named Claire Pass, Kora Michaud and Kara Serasis as recipients of this year’s Julie Tewksbury Scholarship for Working Moms, awarding each recipient $1,000 to assist with professional and educational goals.

The scholarship program, now in its fifth year, honors retired bank employee Julie Tewksbury and supports working mothers pursuing personal and professional development. A panel of community leaders, bank staff, and Tewksbury reviewed applications.

Pass, a third-grade teacher at Dublin Christian Academy, plans to use her funds for specialized training in teaching students with dyslexia. Michaud, a licensed funeral director at Fletcher & Foley Funeral Home and former hospice caregiver, will apply her award to attend law school after graduating in October with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Serasis, a therapist with Rise for Baby and Family, will use her award to complete perinatal mental health training.
