Oscar Taylor shot a 40 to lead the ConVal Regional High School varsity coed golf team to a 252 team total in a Division I four-school match Sept. 29 at Amherst Country Club.

The 252 team tally stands as ConVal’s lowest score on an away course this season and the team’s second-best total overall, trailing only a 250 posted on its home course five days prior.

ConVal finished fourth in a tightly contested match hosted by Souhegan High School. Oyster River High School took first place overall with a team score of 197, followed by Hollis-Brookline High School (199) and host Souhegan (208). Matt Howie of Hollis-Brookline earned individual medalist honors with a 36.

Taylor’s 40 paced the Cougars for the seventh straight match. Senior Anthony Gutwein turned in a 48, while Oliver Vivilecchia added a 51. Carson Niemela (56) and Milo Ferrisi (57) completed the scoring for ConVal. Jonathon “JT” Burke (64), Ben Ferrisi (65), and Aiden “AJ” Lyons (66) also competed for the Cougars.
