The Friends of the Jaffrey Library will accept up to 20 book donations per person on Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon in the library’s Bean Room.
Volunteers will review donations to stock winter reading shelves. Accepted items include fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, and youth books in good condition. Magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, or books on medical, financial, or computer topics will not be accepted.
Donations are accepted exclusively during these second Saturday collection times and should not be brought to library staff or left in book drops. Funds raised from book sales support library services, including mobile hotspots, museum passes, database access, and community programming.
