The Kiwanis Club of Peterborough will hold its final major yard sale of the season on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Union Congregational Church, located at 33 Concord St. Admission is free, and the sale will take place rain or shine.
An Early Bird Sale will take place on Friday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 6 p.m., with a $5 admission fee. On Saturday from noon to 1 p.m., the sale will feature an “all you can carry” deal for $10.
Items available for purchase include furniture, kitchenware, home decor, jewelry, lamps, outdoor and sports equipment, tools, toys, garden items, books, compact discs, frames, and holiday decorations. All children attending the sale will receive one free book of their choice.
All proceeds from the event support local programs for children across the Monadnock region.
