Honest, accurate information important to all
Representative Mary Murphy, the Republican candidate for Hillsborough District 27, has been shadow-boxing with Tim Coffin, an Independent backed by the financial and organizational might of the Francestown Democrat Committee. Francestown voters received a recent text campaign from an untraceable toll-free number. Coffin secured the required 35 write-in votes on the Democrat ballot to continue the ruse of independence by giving him the opportunity to decline the Democrat nomination. Is anyone actually buying this?
While Murphy fulfilled all of her 2024 campaign promises and has been up front with new detailed plans to lower property taxes, improve public school outcomes and education funding solutions, and address other known challenges the state is facing, Coffin’s platform reflects a 100% alignment with the Democratic platform of gun control, resistance to election integrity measures, and promotion of broad-based income or sales taxes as alternatives to property taxes.
Murphy has been completely transparent and honest about her affiliation with the Republican Party, her disagreement with them on issues like local control and legalizing hallucinogenic substances, and her willingness to reach across the aisle to work with anyone, regardless of party, to solve New Hampshire’s high property tax problem.
