Ingalls Memorial Library recently added more than 100 children’s books to its collection through a grant from The Pilcrow Foundation’s Children’s Book Project and matching donations.
The Friends of Ingalls Memorial Library raised $400, which was matched with $800 from The Pilcrow Foundation to provide 63 books valued at $1,200. Additional donations included $400.50 in math and science books from Hal Berenson and Laura Ackerman, and $300.75 in health and wellness books from Drs. Bill Strawbridge and Meg Wallhagen. Authors Marc Nitsche and Samantha Childs also donated copies of their books, “The White Buffalo” and “Henri and the Magnificent Snort.”
