Mount Wachusett Community College’s East Wing Gallery will present “Circumstantial Light: An Exhibition of Recent Paintings” by alumnus Doug Caves Sr. from now through Oct. 15 on the college’s Gardner campus.
A closing reception will take place Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
Caves, an oil and acrylic painter, explores how light, space, and everyday surroundings reveal emotional and perceptual depth. He is dedicating the exhibition to the late Gene Cauthen, a former longtime art professor at the college.
