The Jaffrey-Rindge MLK Committee is seeking new volunteers to help plan its annual Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. event, with an initial organizational meeting set for Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge.
Planning meetings for the 2027 commemoration will run for one hour monthly from September through January, with options to attend in person or via Zoom. Subsequent meeting dates and locations will be set based on member availability and preferences.
Because the MLK Day celebration is a regional event, volunteers do not need to reside in Jaffrey or Rindge to join.
