The Antrim Grange will host its annual Penny Sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church.

The event features a large selection of new and gently used household items, toys, locally made products, and gift certificates to area businesses. Ticket sheets are priced at $3 for one sheet of 25 tickets or $5 for two sheets. Participants do not need to be present to win and will be contacted to arrange prize pick-ups if their numbers are drawn. Item donations are accepted in advance by contacting Beth Merrill at 603-588-6615.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the ongoing Antrim Grange Hall Rehabilitation Project. Originally built in 1785 and moved to Clinton Road in 1832, the historic building has undergone structural repairs since 2017, including roof replacement, beam and post restoration, and the recent completion of a new masonry retaining wall. Current work focuses on reconstructing the north gable end foundation wall.

Tax-deductible contributions can be made out to the NH Grange Foundation (noted for the Antrim Grange Hall project) and mailed to Andrew Savage, NHGF Treasurer, 837 Bennett Way, Newmarket, NH 03857. General donations payable to Antrim Grange #98 may be sent to the Grange Secretary, 107 West St., Antrim, NH 03440. For more information, email abmrdf@mcttelecom.com.
