Lyndeborough residents gathered at Center Hall on Sunday, Aug. 16, for the town’s annual Community Day, featuring live music, local vendors, family activities, and historical displays.
The day’s events included craft booths, games, magic shows, a silent auction, an antique car display, and an evening steak dinner paired with an open mic session. The local fire department provided rides for attendees, along with a lunch menu. Throughout the event, the Lafayette Artillery Company performed a flag retirement ceremony and fired their 1844 six-pound brass cannon three times.
Highlighting the town’s history, the Historical Society organized a community group portrait in front of Center Hall. The photograph reenacted a late-1920s photo of local residents, continuing a historic photo tradition that the town had previously repeated in 2011 and 2014.
