Emergency responders from Dublin and Peterborough responded to a three-vehicle collision on Route 101 on Monday afternoon, according to police.
The Dublin Police Department, Dublin Fire Department, and Peterborough Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of Main Street (Route 101) and Chesham Road at 4:04 p.m.
According to Police Chief Timothy Suokko, the crash occurred when a vehicle attempting to turn off Chesham Road collided with a dump truck traveling west on Route 101 toward Marlborough. A third vehicle stopped in the intersection was struck during the impact.
One person was transported to a local hospital as a precaution, though no injuries were reported at the scene.
The crash forced authorities to reduce Route 101 to a single lane while crews cleared dirt, rocks, and debris spilled from the dump truck. The N.H. Department of Transportation assisted with the cleanup efforts.
