The J Field Foundation raised nearly $20,000 at its annual charity golf tournament on Aug. 14 at Crotched Mountain Golf Club in Francestown.
All proceeds from the event will fund equine therapy scholarships for veterans and youth through Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship. Peterborough resident and foundation co-founder Jennifer Field partnered with the organization in 2023 to support individuals living with traumatic brain injuries.
A Peterborough-based foursome led by Betsy Gordon – along with Nick Gordon, Ed McMillan, and Andrew McMillan – took first place in the tournament with a score of 8-under-par. The second-place team included Laura Gilman, Christy Vigue, George Conway, and Peter Lopez. Individual contest winners were:

- Longest Drive: Laura Gilman (women’s), Roger St. Onge (men’s)
- Closest to the Pin: Christy Vigue (women’s), Peter Lopez (men’s)
Field noted that the tournament surpassed its previous fundraising total, with all funds going directly toward local scholarship support.
