The Amos Fortune Forum will host songwriters Tom Smith and Cosy Sheridan on Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. at the Meetinghouse.
Titled “Two Songwriters at the Kitchen Table,” the presentation features a discussion and performance on the art and process of songwriting. Sheridan and Smith will perform songs based on random prompts and discuss the stories behind their composition.
Sheridan, a resident of Harrisville, is the director of the Moab Folk Camp. Smith, a summer resident of Jaffrey, has been a folk musician for more than 45 years.
