Vote for change. Vote for Paige!

To the editor,
NH Representative Paige Beauchemin is running as a progressive democrat to unseat Maggie Goodlander in Congressional District 2.
Paige believes working people deserve to be represented by a working person.
Maggie Goodlander’s net worth is upwards of $30 million. She is profit-driven and beholden to out-of-state donors.
Only 2% of federal lawmakers come from blue-collar, service, or manual jobs despite half of the American workforce belonging to the working class.
Paige is a registered nurse and mother of three school-age children. Her focus is on healthcare access and childcare affordability – on housing stability, education and economic opportunity. Imagine being represented in Congress by an actual working person!

Goodlander talks about expanding access to healthcare but is unwilling to sponsor Medicare for All. As a capitalist, Goodlander fails to support public programs that 80% of Americans want, such as Medicare for All.
Paige’s husband is a geologist. Goodlander’s husband is Jake Sullivan; one of the key architects of the Palestinian genocide.
Goodlander takes significant amounts of pro-Israel lobby money. She votes for aggression at home and abroad. She voted to fund the genocide. Instead of calling to abolish ICE, she pushes for “guardrails” for an agency functioning with impunity. She voted for the Laken Riley Act, stripping people of constitutionally guaranteed rights to due process.
Paige believes in people first. She would work to abolish ICE and end the genocide in Gaza.
As a State Representative, Paige answers to her constituents, not corporations. She will continue this in DC. She will work to overturn Citizens United. She is committed to enacting Medicare for All and working for affordable housing and paid leave/childcare for all.
I support Paige Beauchemin as she believes in peace, dignity and hope for all people.
