Several local students were recently recognized for their academic achievements and named to the dean’s list at their respective colleges and universities.
- Robert Amundson of Dublin was named to the dean’s list at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, for the winter semester ending in May 2026. Amundson is majoring in economics and minoring in mathematics. The Bates College dean’s list is a distinction earned by students with a 3.92 GPA or higher.
- Teagan Harbour of Rindge earned dean’s list honors at the University of Tampa in Florida for the spring 2026 semester. Harbour, a member of the Class of 2026, is majoring in biology. Students must maintain a 3.75 GPA or higher to be eligible for the university’s dean’s list.
- Kendall Larson of Peterborough made the dean’s list for the spring 2026 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.
- Sam Barr of Rindge has been named to the Vermont State University Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester. The academic honor recognizes full-time students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
- Charles Hutchings of Hancock and Margaret Winiecki of Jaffrey have been named to the College of the Holy Cross Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester. The academic honor recognizes students who pass four or more letter-graded courses with a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
- Aida Davis of Peterborough was has been named to the spring 2026 dean’s list at Emmanuel College in Boston, Mass. The honor recognizes students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.
