
Peterborough Fire and Rescue responded to two road incidents on Sunday.
Joining the Hancock NH Fire Department, Peterborough Fire and Rescue sent two ambulances to 134 Bonds Corner Road for a single motorcycle accident with two people injured at approximately 2:22 p.m.
Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team and UMass Memorial LifeFlight sent two helicopters to a landing zone at Hancock Elementary. Bennington Fire Rescue help prepare the landing zone. Both people injured were brought to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medial Center, according to Tom Bates, Hancock fire chief.
As the Hancock accident continued, Peterborough Fire and Rescue responded to reported car and bike collision at approximately 3 p.m. A landing pad was prepared at ConVal High School for Boston MedFlight, but eventually canceled as the patient was transferred to a facility close by.
The Peterborough Police Department is currently investigating the accidents, and was not available for immediate comment.
