Project Shakespeare will mark its 32nd season with “Speak the Speech!,” a showcase of short plays, scenes and monologues, on Friday, July 17, at 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 18, at 1 p.m.
The free performances will take place at the Jaffrey Civic Center, located at 40 Main St. Donations will be accepted at the door.
The production features students ages 4 to 16 performing abbreviated versions of “Romeo and Juliet” and “As You Like It,” along with scenes from “King John” and “Much Ado About Nothing.” The showcase is directed by Associate Directors Benjamin Michaud and Lif Petrova, with choreography by Petrova and stage management by Tess Geana.
Participating students include Claire Blessing, James Blessing, Alexander Brand, Tess Geana, Clover Heinzmann, Lillianna Helsel, Eleanora Kishinevsky, Xavier Liceaga, Henry McDonald, Elise Nicklin, Astrid Niehaus, Amalia Oreamuno, Emmy Ratcliffe, Jem Russell, Harrison Seeger, Amelia St. John, Aubrey St. John and Kate St. John.
