The people’s path forward

I’m a veteran; I enlisted in the Army in 1969. My brother was on his second tour in Vietnam as a Marine; my father was in his 29th year in the Navy. As military dependents, we started service at birth. Military Families are as much a part of service as those who wear the uniform.

We all swore an oath to the Constitution, not to any party or person.

Our current situation is caused by money slowly, methodically corrupting the political process. That’s been exacerbated by the billionaire-owned media becoming part and parcel of the process of destroying Our Democracy. Why? Very simply, the rich want it all.

Because it takes millions of dollars to get elected, most politicians have to court wealthy special interest supporters. Do you really believe there’s no quid pro quo?

The US Senate seat from New Hampshire has two Democratic candidates. Chris Pappas has been anointed by the DNC and the NHDP. He has 10s of millions to spend. His donors are 68% large donations and PAC money. Karishma Manzur is the other candidate. Her campaign is real grassroots, no PAC money, no corporations, no mega donors. Just people who want a better tomorrow.

Karishma supports Medicare for all, a living wage, a good education and so much more that will really make We The People great again.

Too many don’t have enough; the top 1% owns 32% of everything. The bottom half own just 2%.

Tax cuts by the last 4 Republican administrations have only made the rich richer while cutting services that would lift the average citizen. Corporate Democrats have done little more than lip service to reverse those changes.

It’s time to right the ship toward progress. Only a candidate who isn’t beholden to big money can do that.
