Kimberly A. Caron

Jaffrey, NH – Kimberly A. Caron, 60, of Jaffrey, NH, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, in Lebanon following a short period of declining health.

Known to family and friends as “Kim” or “Kimmy”, she was born in Peterborough, NH, on November 2, 1965, the eldest of three daughters born to James Hunt and Susan Gillespie Hunt. Kim was raised in Jaffrey and graduated from Conant High School with the Class of 1983, where she was a standout three-sport athlete. Kim continued her schooling at Plymouth State College, majoring in physical education, before returning to her hometown to start a family and career. She married Michael Ouellette and together they welcomed two children, Matthew and Rachel, who became the pride and joy of her life. Later, Kim met and married Peter Caron, with whom she shared 19 wonderful years with. Their time together was filled with family gatherings, summer lobster dinners, Harley rides, and many cherished trips to the coast of Maine.

Throughout her career, Kim was always guided by a deep compassion for others and a desire to serve her community. She dedicated much of her professional life to supporting children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities through her work at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, Robin Hill Farm, and Monadnock Worksource. She believed every person deserved positive encouragement and the opportunity to reach their potential. As a paraprofessional and substitute teacher in the local schools, she provided guidance and support for students with diverse and special needs. She also worked with the Jaffrey Recreation Department, helping to organize and lead recreational programs and activities for local youth and community members. Most recently, as a residential counselor with Monadnock Developmental Services in Keene, Kim made a lasting impact on the lives of adults with developmental disabilities through her kindness and empathy, and her commitment to helping them live their lives to the fullest.

Kim will be remembered for her warm smile, contagious laugh, and the love she gave so freely to her family, friends, and the communities she served. Though she possessed a quiet and often shy demeanor, her generous spirit touched countless lives and will live on through the kindness she shared and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Kim is survived by her parents, James Hunt of Jaffrey and Susan Gillespie Hunt (Albert Edwards) of Greensboro, NC; her husband, Peter Caron of Jaffrey; her mother-in-law, Elizabeth Caron of Rindge; her son, Matthew Ouellette (Amanda Ouellette) of Nashua; her daughter, Rachel Ouellette (Jamaal Glenn) of New Ipswich; her stepchildren, Maria Caron (Tim Pace) of Peterborough and Seth Caron (Samantha Wallace) of Jaffrey. She will also be forever missed by her sisters, Tracy Despres (Matt Despres) of Rindge and Kari Hunt (Jennifer Whitley) of Asheville, NC. Kim will be fondly remembered by her nieces, Bailey Despres (Nick Germano) and Regan Despres; and her beloved grandchildren, Myla and Mason Ouellette, Sophia Ouellette, and Lucien Caron; and by countless friends.

A Celebration of Kim’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm at the John Humiston American Legion, Post 11, 20 Webster St, Jaffrey, NH 03452. To honor Kim’s love of the ocean, the family invites guests to wear their favorite shade of blue.
