Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative Middle School Softball team played against Henniker Community School June 9 at the Regional Championships. The WLC softball team won with the final score 7-2.
From the moment they got on the bus, Coach Norman Hall said he knew the team was ready to win.
“I could tell these girls were locked in and nothing was going to stop them from winning this game,” he said.
After the game, the girls were greeted with fire trucks and cars from the community parading them down the streets. Family and friends cheered them on from the sidelines.
