ConVal students, partnering with the Peterborough Plus chapter of the League of Women Voters of NH, organized a voter drive for new voters at the high school on Monday, June 8th.
Seniors Liam Armstrong and Marcus Jordan, who were the student representatives to the ConVal School board this year, led the initiative to register new voters in the ConVal senior class.
“It was a huge success,” said Kate Coon of the LWV. “This was student led, adult supported, building on the groundwork we had laid three years ago to get this effort going. Marcus and Liam were the key to getting this off the ground.”
Coon credited principal Heather McKillop and superintendent Ann Forrest with supporting the effort to register new voters.
