Peterborough Folk Music Society will present award-winning singer-songwriter Joe Crookston in concert Saturday, June 13, at Bass Hall in the Monadnock Center for History and Culture.
The performance begins at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. A 30th anniversary video presentation will be shown at 6:45 p.m.
Crookston, a nationally recognized folk artist, has toured with Gordon Lightfoot, headlined major festivals across the United States and was honored with Folk Alliance International’s Album of the Year award. He was also named a Folk Alliance International Artist-in-Residence.
His recent project, Nine Becomes One, has been released in stages between 2023 and 2025. Over the course of his career, Crookston has performed alongside artists including Suzanne Vega, Dar Williams, David Francey, John McCutcheon, John Gorka and Judy Collins.
Peterborough Folk Music Society is presenting the concert as part of its 30th anniversary season.
Advance tickets are $30 online. Tickets purchased on the day of the show are $35 and must be paid by cash or check.
