The Hancock Summer Concert Series will return to the village common on Thursdays beginning June 25.
The free concerts will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The series opens with the Rich Greenblatt Vibes Quartet and continues July 2 with The Lion Sisters. Other performers include 50 Shades of Blues on July 9, Eyes of Age on July 16, Claudia Schmidt on July 23, Hot Skillet Club on July 30, Off The Cuff on Aug. 6 and Sarah Bauhan and the Elmwood Station Band on Aug. 13.
The series will close Aug. 20 with a bonus concert by Sheep Dip, featuring cover songs from the 1970s and 1980s.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, sun hats and picnic suppers. In case of rain, concerts will be held downstairs in the Meetinghouse.
Food, beverages, baked goods, local produce and crafts will be available at the Hancock Farmers and Artisans Market, also on the common, from 4 to 7 p.m., except on Aug. 20.
