Monadnock Music will host an evening of opera and Italian cuisine June 2 at its Spring Supper Club, featuring performances by artists from Raylynmor Opera.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at the home of Jerry and Sue Bird, 54 Church St., Dublin. Limited to 25 guests, the gathering will include selections from Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” performed by members of Raylynmor Opera as well as a multi-course Italian dinner inspired by traditional wedding feasts.
The menu includes ricotta with honey and olive oil, eggplant caponata, Caprese salad, saltimbocca, pistachio lasagna, Sicilian watermelon pudding and Italian wedding cake, accompanied by Italian wines.
Performers include baritones Spencer Reichman and Joseph Canuto Leon, sopranos Andrea Baker and Kayla Oderah, and mezzo-soprano Sarah Coit.
The event serves as a preview of a future collaboration between Raylynmor Opera and Monadnock Music. Tickets are $100 for the general public and $85 for Monadnock Music members. Reservations are required.
