The 2026 Bennington Rhubarb Festival will return Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sawyer Field, 148 Route 202, behind the US 202 Express Mini-Mart, also known as Harrisโ€™ Store.

The annual community event will feature rhubarb-themed foods, local vendors, games, contests and a petting zoo. Festivalgoers can enjoy homemade pies, baked goods and food from vendors including Auntie Mโ€™s Cottage Kitchen, Beckyโ€™s Pies & Desserts, Bumbles Birria, GoodFellas Grub, Mama Mariaโ€™s Gyros & More, and Sweet Escape Doughnuts and Bakery.

Additional vendors, volunteers, bakers and community groups are still being sought for the event. Local artisans, crafters, farms, businesses and specialty food vendors are encouraged to participate. Volunteers are also needed to assist with setup, activities, contests and hospitality.

The festivalโ€™s Rhubarb Pie Baking Contest will once again give bakers a chance to showcase homemade recipes and compete for recognition.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the GEP Dodge Library Building Fund.
