Members of Scout Troop 3877 visited cemeteries in Greenville on May 14 to place American flags on the graves of veterans in anticipation of Memorial Day.

Greenville will celebrate Memorial Day on May 25 with cemetery services at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Street Cemetery and 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.

The observance will include a parade at 2 p.m. marching from Dunster Avenue down Main Street, with ceremonies at the bridge and war monuments. The parade will be followed by a community barbecue at the American Legion Pavilion.
