A Peterborough author is marking the release of her latest book with a community-focused event at Peterborough Town Library.
Emily Read Daniels, known for “The Regulated Classroom,” will host a book launch on May 16 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Her new book, “The Early Years: A Play-based Guide to Co-regulating with Young Children,” is her first aimed at both educators and caregivers.
Daniels has spent six years training more than 3,000 teachers nationwide. Her work focuses on helping adults support children’s emotional regulation.
The event, held during Teacher Appreciation Week, will feature a brief talk by Daniels and an opportunity for attendees to connect over shared challenges in raising and teaching young children.
