The New Hampshire Liquor Commission recognized outstanding employees, partners and brands during its annual Wine, Spirit & Employee Awards ceremony on April 14 at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester.
Among the honorees, Eric Scott, manager of the Peterborough Liquor & Wine Outlet, received the Above & Beyond Award for his leadership and impact on store performance.
Scott, who began his role in 2024, was credited with transforming the outlet by addressing longstanding operational challenges, strengthening staff development and improving customer service. Under his leadership, the store implemented higher standards and fostered a culture of accountability and pride.
As a result, inventory losses at the location were reduced by 90%, and the store has become a consistently high-performing outlet, according to the commission.
The annual awards celebrate excellence in leadership, mentorship, customer service and sales performance. Honorees included New Hampshire producers such as Tamworth Distilling and Appolo Vineyards, along with national brands including The Prisoner, Aperol and Ketel One.
The commission noted that employees and partners play a key role in serving customers and generating revenue for the stateโs General Fund.
