The Jaffrey Womanโs Club will host a free training session on automated external defibrillator use and hands-only CPR on May 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The session will take place at the Jaffrey Woman’s Club in the Cutler Memorial Building, 33 Main St.
Led by AEMT Elysia Devens, the class is designed to teach basic lifesaving skills for responding to cardiac emergencies. Participants will learn the fundamentals of operating an AED and performing hands-only cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The training is free and open to the public, though it does not provide certification.
