The Tim Samuelson Memorial Youth Trout Fishing Derby brought families together last Sunday for a day of fishing and community in Francestown.
The annual event honors Tim Samuelson and supports youth participation in fishing and outdoor activities. Organizers credited the Samuelson family for their longtime contributions to programs benefiting local children.
Among participants was Nora Jean Nadeau, 18 months, who traveled from Washington with family members Joshua Nadeau and Hannah (Henderson) Nadeau to take part in the derby.
