Conant defeated Stevens 11-6 in spring softball action, powered by a strong all-around team performance.
Freshman pitcher Chloe Seppala allowed five hits while striking out six in the circle. She also contributed offensively, reaching base three times with a hit and two walks and scoring a run. Fellow freshman Autumn Burgoyne led the offense, going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and four RBIs. Violent Bennet added two hits, finishing 2-for-3 at the plate.
Conant’s defense remained steady throughout the game, and the team showed patience at the plate to generate scoring opportunities.
