The Park Theatre in Jaffrey will screen “Power To The People: John & Yoko Live in NYC” on Wednesday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
The 2026 multiscreen concert film features John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s 1972 “One To One” concerts at Madison Square Garden, newly restored, re-edited and remixed. The shows by John & Yoko/Plastic Ono Band with Elephant’s Memory and special guests drew a combined audience of 40,000 and raised more than $1.5 million for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The film includes performances of “New York City,” “Instant Karma!,” “Imagine,” “Mother,” “Come Together,” “Hound Dog” and “Give Peace a Chance.”
“These historic concerts captured John and Yoko at their most passionate and politically engaged,” said Steve Jackson, CEO of The Park Theatre.
The Park Theatre is located at 19 Main Street in downtown Jaffrey.
