The ConVal boys tennis team dropped a pair of matches this week, falling to Lebanon 8-1 on Monday at Adams Playground before losing 9-0 to Oyster River on the road in Durham.
Against Lebanon, the Cougarsโ lone win came from the No. 3 doubles team of Van Stahlin and Kiran Galbraith. Brady Clark led the effort in singles play, battling to an 8-5 loss, while Jacob Levitz and Luke Schoel also played competitively in defeats of 8-5 and 8-4, respectively.
ConVal faced another tough test against Oyster River, a program with strong numbers and experienced players, and was swept 9-0.
The Cougars now stand at 1-4 on the season and will look to rebound when they host Kennett High School at Adams Playground on Monday, April 20.
