Conval School District appoints Alisa LaSalle as director of student services

ConVal School District has appointed Alisa LaSalle as director of student services, 504/ADA coordinator and McKinney-Vento liaison, effective July 1.

LaSalle, a ConVal High School graduate, has worked for the past six years as a ConVal school social worker. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in social work with a specialization in children and families from Salem State University.

Before joining ConVal, LaSalle spent 14 years as a social worker and adjustment counselor and six years as a residential coordinator serving youth with social-emotional, behavioral and learning disabilities.

LaSalle will begin the role at the end of the school year as Cari Coates, director of student services, retires.
