Megan Wheeler, a Jaffrey resident and Peace Corps Scholar, spoke at a March 19 breakfast meeting at Franklin Pierce University about her three years of service in the Dominican Republic.

The daughter of Rotarian Ben Wheeler and a former Conant Interacter, Wheeler volunteered in the islands during high school before returning as a Peace Corps Scholar. During the presentation, she shared insights from teaching Spanish and living in a small village.

Wheeler’s presentation focused on education and cultural immersion, drawing interest from Rotarian sponsors of international education in attendance.
