Monadnock Family Services announced a leadership transition within its Board of Directors in Keene.
Ed Walker, of Peterborough, is stepping down as board chair for personal reasons after saying in March that increasing family and professional demands no longer allowed him to serve in the role as needed. Heather Scheck has been named interim board chair. She joined the board in 2023 and serves as regional vice president and branch manager at Savings Bank of Walpole.
The board also named Liane Wiley treasurer and added Linda Glasschroeder, RN, to the board. John Santos was recognized as a lifetime board member for his service to MFS.
MFS said Kayla Szczesiul is no longer with the organization. Development matters should be directed to development@mfs.org as MFS searches for its next director of development.
Monadnock Family Services is a nonprofit community mental health center serving Cheshire County and surrounding areas.
