The Mariposa Museum will host “The Colors of South Africa,” a presentation by photographer Steve Lipofsky, on Sunday, March 29, at 3 p.m.

Last year, photographer Steve Lipofsky spent a month traveling thousands of miles across South Africa — from Cape Town and Cape Point to Durban, Kruger National Park, and many places in between. Along the way, he encountered the country’s landscapes, wildlife and the warmth and humor of the people he met.

In a 45-minute presentation, Lipofsky will share stories and photographs that highlight the many “colors” of South Africa. Through humor, personal experiences, and imagery, he hopes to offer audiences a deeper understanding of a country that remains a mystery to many.
