A “No Kings Day” rally is planned for Saturday, March 28, on the Francestown Town Common.
The gathering, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is described by organizers as a peaceful, nonviolent and nonpartisan event for residents who support constitutional democracy.
Participants are encouraged to bring signs and gather with friends and family. Parking will be available in front of the Town Hall horse sheds and behind the Town Office building at 15 Main St.
The event is part of a nationwide “No Kings Day” mobilization organized by the No Kings coalition, with rallies planned across the country. The movement is aimed at protesting authoritarianism, billionaire influence and policies of the Trump administration.
