Iran will be the subject of two programs at the Mariposa Museum in Peterborough next week.

โ€œIran in Historical Contextโ€ will be the theme of a talk at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, by Olga Merck Davidson, a Dublin resident who is a scholar of Persia, Iran, and the Arab world.  Drawing on her deep knowledge of Iran and a wide network of Iranian friends and colleagues, she will discuss Iranian history and culture.

The program will include an audience discussion of key issues, including the justification for the war, its legality, Americaโ€™s goals, and the warโ€™s possible outcomes and implications.
