Children and the Arts, in collaboration with MAXT Makerspace, will host a giant puppet-making workshop for this yearโ€™s โ€œLet Your Garden Growโ€ festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Peterborough Libraryโ€™s 1833 Room.

Participants will collaborate on puppets for local elementary schools or create their own using cardboard sculpting and papier-mรขchรฉ. Puppets may not be completed during the session but can be finished later by local schools, during additional sessions at MAXT Makerspace or at home.

Two optional drop-in finishing workshops will be held April 13 and April 20 at MAXT Makerspace.

No experience is required. Participants should bring lunch and be prepared for hands-on work. A supply list will be provided after registration.

The workshop is open to ages 14 and older and is limited to 20 participants.
