Balin Books will host NBA legend Robert Parish for a meet-and-greet and signing of his memoir “The Chief” from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at the bookstore in Somerset Plaza, 375 Amherst St., Nashua.
Parish, a four-time NBA champion and nine-time All-Star, played 21 seasons in the NBA, including 14 with the Boston Celtics. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and named to the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team in 2021.
In “The Chief,” Parish reflects on his life and career, from his childhood in Louisiana to his years with the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets and Chicago Bulls.
