Ray Brewer has been selected as grand marshal of the seventh annual Jaffrey St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 15.
The parade begins at 2 p.m. in front of St. Patrick’s Parish, 89 Main Street in Jaffrey. It will travel east on Main Street through downtown, pass the reviewing stand in front of The Park Theatre, and end at Conant High School off Stratton Road.
Brewer, a WMUR-TV ABC 9 reporter who lives in Peterborough, becomes the first annually selected grand marshal. He will march alongside Honorary Grand Marshal Jimmy Quinn, co-founder of the parade. Former grand marshals will also be invited to participate each year.
The parade is the centerpiece of the Shamrock Festival, running March 12 through March 17.
