The Lyndeborough Monument Committee is making a final push to reach its $26,000 fundraising goal for a Revolutionary War monument planned for installation this August as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
This weekend marks the deadline for “platinum status” donors — those contributing $1,000 or more — to have their names permanently listed on a plaque accompanying the monument. Donations received by Town Meeting on Saturday, March 15, will be included on the donor list.
The dedication ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. at Memorial Park, followed by a community supper at Citizens’ Hall. The public is invited to attend.
