A Massachusetts man was arrested Wednesday and charged with driving at over 100 miles per hour on Route 202 in Rindge, according to police.
At 11:02 p.m. Wednesday, Rindge police stopped a 2020 Kia Stinger traveling at 104 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 202 near Sears Drive. The driver, Anthony Thomas Salviati, 21, of Attleboro, Mass., was arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle. The Kia was towed to Gauthier’s Auto Services of Jaffrey.
Salviati is scheduled to be arraigned on April 15, at 10 a.m. at the 8th Circuit Court, Jaffrey. If convicted, he faces a fine not less than $750 plus the court’s penalty assessment and a 90-day license suspension or revocation.
