The Keene Chamber Orchestra will present its spring concert, โ€œGlobal Tapestries,โ€ on Sunday, March 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 100 Maple Ave., Keene.

A pre-concert lecture begins at 2 p.m., followed by the concert at 3 p.m. Admission is free; donations will be accepted at the door.

The program features works by Emilie Mayer, Max Bruch, Alejandro Garcรญa Caturla and Dmitri Shostakovich. The concert will spotlight local Keene High School student Gaetana Martin as violin soloist.

The Keene Chamber Orchestra is a community ensemble serving the Monadnock region through performances and music education, including instrumental instruction, music appreciation, scholarships, outreach chamber music and solo concerts.
